What's involved?
Events:
4 x 25m medley relay (2 boys & 2 girls per team)
25m backstroke (individual)
25m breaststroke (individual)
25m butterfly (individual)
25m freestyle (individual)
4 x 25m freestyle relay (2 boys & 2 girls per team)
Swimmers are asked to bring:
- a towel or T-shirt for wearing poolside to keep warm between events
- a drink
- a swim hat (compulsory!)
- 2 pair of goggles
As this league involves our younger members, parents are needed to transport
their children to home and away meets and stay to support and attend their
children at the gala. We'll be travelling to Coleraine and Monaghan this year we
plan to organise a bus. We ask that, where possible, children under 10 years old
are accompanied by a parent/carer. Volunteers on the day are always welcome, eg.
timekeepers, help with buffet, etc.
Refreshments are needed for the post-gala buffet. Boys please provide
sandwiches, girls please provide friut or buns. Thank you!
