All club swimmers are invited to take part in this event. Please respond to your Teamer invite or email to confirm your attendance/absence from the championships. This helps with the smooth running of the event.

Learner pool swimmers will swim first, followed by 2006 and younger and so on up through the groups. Swimmers will compete within two year age bands as per PTL groups: 2006 and younger, 2005-2004, 2003-2002, 2001-2000, 1999 and older.
Senior swimmers who have a lifesaving qualification will be needed to escort the training pool swimmers. Please report to Annabel at 6.50pm each night.
All swimmers will swim according to the meet programme. Only times recorded on the night, by swimmers swimming in the correct order, will be eligible for medal consideration. Groups may be merged on occasion to facilitate the running of the meet. This is at the discretion of the meet organisers.
All B, C and D gala swimmers should be aware that correct stroke technique, touches and turns are essential to avoid disqualification.
All swimmers must stay on poolside for the duration of the meet. Any swimmer who is not on poolside when called will miss their opportunity to compete.
Every effort is made to ensure this is a competitive but fun event for our swimmers, from the youngest to the oldest. Participation by all members is encouraged and we ask all swimmers to become familiar with their Personal Best (PB) times and swim against themselves first and foremost.
