Particular mentions to Adam, representing St Macartan's PS, who made the finals in both 50 back and 100 IM. He picked up a silver in backstroke and a bronze in the IM. Also on the podium was Jack (Academy PS) who made the 50 fly and free finals and claimed a bronze medal in the freestyle. Meanwhile, big sister Ruby swam two fantastic anchor legs in the medley and freestyle relays, taking her Methody team to gold and silver.
Other finalists included Amy (back and fly), Cara (free and IM), Rebecca (Back), Niamh (free), Ben (free), Tom (breast) and Sarah (back). Mark just missed out on finals in both back and IM but picked up some great PBs. There were also impressive PBs for Caitriona, Rebekah, Olivia and Daniel and great individual swims by Eve and Ruby. Rebecca, Mark, Adam, Cara, Ruby and Jack have all qualified for the Irish minor championships in February.
Tomorrow it's time for our older swimmers to show what they can do in the water. In the meantime, thanks to Swim Ulster for a great Day 1.
